Practical relevance is the key
Almost 70 exhibitors, half of them from European countries beyond the Austrian border, present practical content and provide advice on specific questions fielded by operators and other industry representatives. Trade fair visitors receive a comprehensive overview of the industry - from power plant planning, water catchment and water protection issues, to special control systems and safety equipment. In the words of Managing Director DI (FH) Alexander Kribus, MBA: "We join our partners and exhibitors in aiming to provide trade visitors with the tools required to realise the energy transition. Several specialist presentations and keynote speeches will outline current possibilities for hydropower utilisation and highlight future potential."
Programme content with added value
The trade fair agenda features stage talks and panel discussions with decision-makers and industry representatives. Participants at the opening energy discussion: ‘13 years of the energy transition: Where is the journey heading? Centralised vs. decentralised energy supply’ include Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Josef Schwaiger (Salzburg State Councillor), Florian Streibl (Bavarian State Parliament MP), Dipl.-Ing. Hermann Steinmaßl (Chairman of LEE Bayern) and Dipl.-Ing. Herwig Struber, MSc (Chairman of Salzburg AG). Various presentations on specialised topics are to be held in the conference area, focussing on best-practice examples, revitalisation measures, black-start capabilities, island operation and energy communities.
Results of new water flow study revealed
